March 2017 Newsletter

Principal’s Message

Welcome to March, hopefully soon we will welcome Spring!  Staff and students are nicely into term 2 and as a school we continue to focus on maximizing student outcomes. The tasks and activities that students are engaged in provide opportunities for them to hone their skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving – skills that

will help them to be successful both in school and beyond.

As a school, we continue to focus on building and sustaining an inclusive and positive school environment through our focus on character development. Our character attribute for the month of March is Optimism and we will be recognizing the positive attitudes and accomplishments that occur throughout the school.

Finally, just a reminder that March Break begins on Monday March 13th.  I hope everyone has a good week off, and I look forward to students  returning on March 20th with rejuvenated minds.

Mr. Bevan Moir, Principal

Staff Change

We say goodbye to Mr. Gleadall and thank him for his time and work here at E.E.S.  We welcome Ms. Klein who is returning to us from maternity leave.
